MY STORY.

My grandparents were born in Italy and immigrated to Canada in the 1950s. Thanks to their experiences, I grew up with a small piece of Italian culture — and when I reached a certain age, I realized it was time to deepen and cultivate that passion.

After attending Western University in London, Ontario for five years, I decided to take a different path by studying how to teach the English language. The desire to move to Italy was growing within me, and what better opportunity than to teach one of the most spoken languages in the world — which is also my mother tongue?

Once I finished my studies, I left for Italy in September 2022. During my first year, I studied Italian at the Leonardo Da Vinci school in Florence, fully immersing myself in Italian culture. It was the most challenging experience of my life — but after many ups and downs and a lot of hard work, I succeeded in achieving my language goals.

In September 2023, I moved to Milan to start a new career as an English teacher. I collaborated with YES School, where I taught many courses and had the opportunity to teach in public schools through institutional partnerships across Milan.

Since 2024, I have continued my journey independently, offering private lessons upon request. Having been a language student myself, I understand exactly what it means to start from scratch or struggle with a new language. I am aware of the difficulties and frustrations — and I am here to help anyone who wants to learn English, whether they start from zero or simply wish to improve.
